Are You a Locavore? We Are!

Hippie Kitchen will be among the restaurants taking part in the 8th annual Eat Local Challenge! This community event, lasting through the month of June, encourages its participants to only eat food grown, caught, or raised within 200 miles of New Orleans. By taking part in this challenge, participants are supporting their local farms and economy, reducing their carbon footprint, and enjoying the rich culture of Louisiana's agricultural industry.

Egg White Frittata

Our daily Frittata is made with Happy Hen Farm egg whites filled with veggies from the local Farmer's Market. 


Veggie Terrine

Made with local Farmer's Market veggies, this flavor-filled, layered terrine comes with sides of house made pickles and ciabatta bread.


Hibiscus Cosmo

Our Hibiscus Cosmo is made with Crescent Vodka, house made Hibiscus Syrup, and local Lime. Sip like a local!
